i love that there's a good bloke working in this room for the next four years. it's funny - when bush got 'elected', four years seemed like AAAAAAAAAGES, but now that obama's there, it feels like SUCH a short time!
hey - have i been watching too much west wing, or are presidents really allowed to redecorate the oval office? because it looks like the previous incumbent had martha stewart over to do the job...

Cliton is a lefty. (So is GHWB, but whateverrrrrs.) Actually, someone on Obama_daily (so take it with a grain of salt) said there is an unusually high rate of left handedness in the population of Presidents.

Each President gets to decorate the Oval Office and some other rooms however they want. There is all this fancy old furniture they can choose from. Everything gets packed up when the last President leaves for the last time, and everything is set up by the time the new one arrives - a matter of hours!

Well, not to make assumptions based on gender stereotypes, but I am betting Michelle made those decisions, if only because when on earth would he have had time?!
