rbp: the perfect venue

today we met with marg and cherry at glen harrow, and talked about our plans for the really big party. it is coming together really well, and those women are going to help us put on an amazing event.

i brought my camera...


this is poppy, marg's great dane. she sat with us (and burped a bit!) while we talked.


marg always has flower arrangements like this around the place, and it's the style we're going with for the rbp - i.e. 'just picked from a cottage garden'


this is marg - my best friend's mum, and force of nature. this woman has built and run her own business, raised two girls, and beat two different kinds of cancer. she's really something.

gorgeous photos, as always. you wouldn't believe there was a drought on from looking at these! just so lovely, i can't wait to see the place for myself! :)

but i'd be worried about sajee and the donkeys. i've heard of other human/donkey/donkey relationships and they often don't go well. some humans and cats might be suited to polyamory, but donkeys - not so much. i just hope it doesn't end in tears. bitter donkey tears.

they're heritage listed so i think they're allowed to water a bit more than other properties. i must admit, i was wondering how they pulled that level of green-ness off as we wandered around..
