I was thinking about this yesterday and today it has confirmed it; you make me realise how crap I am at following through with anything. The other week I saw some cute material animals like these in a baby shop and decided I'll make some.. but I haven't yet.. then there's the quilting and the crochet and studying psych and the Etsy store and on the list goes.. everything I want to do and never make time to do, you actually DO. :(

But good on you, I'm glad one of us isn't lost in a world of procrastination :)

Doggie is gorgeous :D

I'm like that as well, and I can't even say I'm busy and don't have time - I have plenty of time! lol

It annoys me that I'm like this, I guess I should spend less time on lj (although I'm about to do a post on why I spend too much time on lj) *sigh*...plus then whenever I finally do get around to doing something and post about it, I just feel like I'm copying Essie when it's more that seeing her do stuff motivates me to get off my arse! (Hi Essie! We're just having d&m's in your comments =p)

i wouldn't feel like you were copying! i love seeing other people's creations! and nothing handmade is ever the same when it's by two different people. this little doggie is just a slightly modified version of a pattern i found in a book, anyway :)

jeez, woman! i'm surprised you have the energy to leave the house. there is no way i could do what you do!

I'm lucky that Jayden is such a placid and contented baby. It's Ella that takes up all my time! lol

I'm sure that will change once Jayden is crawling and getting into everything though.

honey - i have depression and chronic LAZINESS. if i can do it, you can too.
it's about allowing yourself the time.
and i'm lucky cos i work part time, and my study is flexible (in that i can put into it as much as i choose), so i can make time for things that people who work more than me might not find it as easy to...

hee - yeah. i don't think i'd ever have a voluntary computer free day! but i do try and close the lid when i realise that i'm just randomly refreshing, and not actually doing anything. which is quite a lot :p

I think we're all guilty of random refresh! I can go one further.. I have my email set up to auto check every minute, but I still go in and hit 'send and receive' lol.

My gmail is all forwarded to my hotmail which I have set up in Outlook. Then in options you just set how often you want it to check!

Ahh I see. I've got my gmail forwarded to hotmail but I've never used outlook.

Oh it's great! You can set up weekly tasks like 'update garden blog', 'complete self-esteem exercise' 'update goal blog' and then ignore them everytime you start up outlook! (and I complain about never doing anything constructive...)
