progress on the tatt front

i just spoke to dan at lotus tattoo, who is designing my big back piece. he wants me to come in on saturday to look at the design. if i approve it we can get started the following week. at this stage it looks like it will be 3 x 3 hour sessions, each 2 weeks apart.
this will be the first tattoo i've had that's had to be done in more than one session, so that will be interesting.

i am so excited!

I am in awe of you! I don't think I'd ever be able to get a tattoo... and here you are going for a 3x3 hour one! YAYZ!!! :o) I'm sure it's going to be stunning, too.

it's sooooooo not as painful as its made out to be. srsly.
i mean i've never had full on colouring done before, and i understand that is more painful because they have to go over the same bits over and over again, but it really just feels like a reeeeeally localised scratching.
more annoying than painful, and certainly not the worst pain i've ever experienced by a long shot.
